“Nor Ej” project has been established to support Armenian veterans with their overall educational development, thus helping them rethink and develop their capabilities, gain explicit knowledge, skills and abilities to enter the labor market and return to full working life.
The “Nor Ej” project does not provide financial support. Instead, they help veterans develop and acquire a profession based on their aspirations and meet the labor market's demand.
The “Nor Ej” project veterans are young people aged 20-35 who participated in military actions and have been demobilized.
Impact Achieved thus far:
Learning Mission supports veterans to return to society with a defined career path by providing a holistic education with Information Technologies and English at its core. The standard program runs for 12-18 months. Most student veterans live in remote villages and are just starting their educational quest.
Learning Mission's technology education approach is based on the combination of fundamental computer science and a project-based, hands-on paradigm. The labs are applied experience programs that allow advanced students to join real-world SaaS product development.
